  • I'm not an entrepreneur … Can I still enroll in the course?
    Yes! This course is open to Artists (professional and non-professional), Activity Professionals, Family Caregivers, and other wellness professionals interested in using art as therapy. We show you step-by-step how to do therapeutic art and offer tips that will set you up for success.
  • I'm not really an artist, but this sounds great! Do I need to have professional art skills to enroll?"
    You do not need special skills to enroll, just a compassionate spirit and love for art. We will take care of the rest!
  • Will this program make me a Licensed Art Therapist?
    Great question! This program does not make you eligible to become a Licensed Art Therapist. By the end of this course, you will become a Certified Art Practitioner (CAP). Although Holistic Art and Art Therapy may seem similar, there is a difference. We use art to encourage freedom of expression. We do not use art to medically diagnose individuals or treat mental illnesses. Our sole purpose is to establish a non-threatening environment to help others reconnect with the inner spirit. We focus on the holistic process of art and offer a voice to those who feel misunderstood or overlooked.
  • Does this course offer CEUs?
    Yes! This course meets the continuing education requirements of National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) . The course is approved for 24 continuing education credits (CEUs).
  • Is Art & Memory Care Certification an accreditated course?
    Yes! We are proud to share that Art & Memory Care Certification curriculum meets the educational and professional requirements of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) Accreditation Board. Graduates of the Art & Memory Care Certification course will become a Certified Art Practitioner and eligible to apply to become a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through AADP.
