All students are required to purchase the course textbook. This cost is not included in the tuition. The focus of the required text is to help students explore concepts of using art as a therapeutic tool and gain personal reflection as a creative. Making you a better teacher and leader.

A Bit About Me
It would be a pleasure to be your Art & Memory Care Instructor. I have experience doing holistic art with residents in assisted living communities. This certification program absolutely benefits the activity profession!
What inspired me to sign up for the Art & Memory Care Certification™ Program is being able to help those with disabilities express their self. I always say, if I leave work knowing that I've made someone smile, it was a good day. This includes family members, too. And I knew this program could help me do that and more. I could bring a smile to their face and see them be proud of the art they did and show it off.
I believe the mind is hard to understand, especially for those with Dementia. It's even more difficult. As their disease progresses, art can make them shine in many ways. The Art & Memory Care Certification™ program shows you how to use art to identify what residents are crying out from the inside. The program also helps you realize that no matter the art a resident creates, good or bad, it can be a milestone for them.
